2017 Junior Golf Program

The 2017 Kettle Hills Junior Golf Program is improved and expanded.  The goal is to provide a variety of dates, with different age groups and skill levels giving parents and juniors the right fit for their busy summer schedules.

We will be offering 5 different types of Junior Programs this summer.  Information and registration materials are included via links.

If you have any specific questions please contact the Golf Shop.

Junior Golf & Clinic Series

Wednesday mornings we will offer junior golf & clinic series, consisting of a combination of golf clinics and actual on-course play.  This is a 7-week program with 3 divisions (18, 9, & 5 holes) based on the child's age, ambition for the game and physical capabilities.  The purpose of this program is to teach juniors the fundamentals of golf in a 20-30 minute - clinic style format each week followed by golf with their peers.  The 7th week (last day) will feature a 9-hole team scramble followed by a lunch banquet and raffle.

Golfers in this program are required to bring their own clubs and must be able to carry them during the round of golf.

18-Holers - $130 per junior 7:30am start*
9-Holers - $110 per junior 8:30am start*
5-Holers - $90 per junior 10:00am start*
*Start times are approximate and could change a little based on the number of juniors enrolled in each division.  Divisions will be divided into clinic groups of 6-10 during the instruction portion of each day and sent out in 3 or 4-somes.  Final schedules will be provided by June 7th.

New for 2017 - we will hold a sign-up weekend for the Junior Golf & Clinic Series and the Tiny Tots.  Saturday & Sunday May 6th & 7th.  Early registration will be accepted by appointment with Nick Tarasoff, Head Golf Professional.  Please call the golf shop to schedule the appointment.

Tiny Tots Series

Held on Wednesday mornings, our Tiny Tots program is designed to be an introduction to golf for the child who has no prior golf experience and is not quite ready to play on the actual golf course.  We use SNAG Golf equipment that is designed for use with children ages 4-8.

This program has been revised from the 2016 summer and will offer smaller size groups of students.  Kettle Hills will have a staff member assigned to each group, however parents are encouraged to accompany and play along with their tiny tot.  No equipment is needed for the Tiny Tot Series.

(New for 2017) 9-Hole Junior Golf League at Kettle Hills

Tuesday mornings, join our 9-hole junior golf league.  This is designed for more accomplished juniors looking for experience playing in a mildly competitive format.  Intended to provide additional experience to juniors preparing for high school and college play, the league will be handicapped and players will be paired against different opponents each week.  Play will begin at 10:00am each week and will be conducted on the Rolling 9.  Juniors wishing to participate in this league must have the physical ability to walk 9-holes, the responsibility to conduct themselves in a mindful manner on the course at all times and a basic understanding of rules & etiquette.  Participants will be asked to provide two (2) practice rounds scores from the Rolling 9 prior to the beginning of league play to establish a starting handicap.

Registration for the 9-Hole Junior League can be done directly through Nick Tarasoff, PGA.  Sign up today!
